POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS

How to book:
• Please use the 'book now' button to book any appointments. My diary is open 8 weeks in advance, I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment, especially if you are after a late night appointment.

Recommendations:
• I recommend booking infills in around the 3-4 week mark, anything longer than this weeks will require a removal. After 3-4 infill sets, I recommend a removal and new set - this applies to Builder Gel / Hard Gel services. Gel Polish requires a removal every set.

Services:
• Please ensure you book in for the correct service. 'New set' applies to 1st application fresh set on natural nails (i.e. you must have no product on your nails currently.) Infill or commonly known as 'refill' refers to existing product to which I have applied which requires to be infilled only. If you are unsure which to book, then please ask. Add on extensions are available.

Infills:
• I ONLY infill BIAB work which has used 'The Gel Bottle' I do not infill any other salon/nail technicians work, please add removal from 'other salon' onto your service if it is not TGB or if you are not sure which brand of Builder Gel it is. Please add 'infill surcharge' to your appointment if TGB from elsewhere.

Removals:
• You must book in a removal if you have existing product on which has been applied by another salon / nail tech as this adds extra time therefore, those who turn up with product on and have not got TGB product or booked a removal may be refused service and still charged. If you are unsure please ask. Any product with MMA/SNS will incur an extra fee.

Deposits:
• No deposit is taken at the time of your appointment, however you MUST enter card details at the time of booking - your appointment will be cancelled failure to do so.

Cancellation:
• Cancellations can be done for free up to 24 hours prior to appointment, any cancellations within 24hrs will be charged at 50% of the appointment. Any cancellations made within 4 hours of the appointment time will be charged at 100%. No exceptions.

Changes:
• Once you've secured your appointment with card details, you can make any amendments to your appointment as long as it's more than 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If you make any changes with less than 24 hours you may be charge 50%.

No Shows:
• If you do not turn up to your appointment, then you will be charged 100% of the appointment price. This will be charged to the card on file.

Lateness:
• If you are running late to your appointment, please let me know as soon as you can. I can only allow a maximum of 10 minute wait period, otherwise your appointment may be altered to suit the time left or it may be cancelled. You may be charged a late fee on top of your appointment.

Payments/services:
• If you are booked in for ‘french tips’ and decide to opt for a ‘block colour’ you will still be required to pay the full amount as originally booked as the time as been specifically set aside for you. If you are booked in for a ‘block colour’ but then desired french, I’d be unable to accommodate as I have people booked in afterwards (unless arranged prior to appointment with notice). Please ensure you book in for the correct service to avoid disappointment.

Consultation form:
• All clients must complete a consultation form prior to their appointment. This will be sent via e-mail, failure to fill this in will result in appointment being cancelled. Please ensure you read this thoroughly as this will also have all terms and conditions, signing the consolation form means you agree to these terms.

Payment methods:
• Card, transfer and cash are accepted at the time of appointment. Full payment must be made at the time of the appointment prior to leaving the studio.

Illnesses:
• If you are unwell, please do not attend your appointment, this is unfair to myself and those working around me. Please provide as much notice as possible. I will do my best to accommodate you however, my fees are still enforceable regardless, this is my only income and I must adhere to my policies therefore if you can provide at least 24hrs notice then you will not be charged, but please give as much notice as you can.

Aftercare advice:
• It is recommended that you oil your nails, using cuticle oil twice, daily. This will help with the longevity of your nails as well as keeping them hydrated. Please do not use your nails as tools. Please do not pick your nails, this can cause damage to the natural nail plate and may effect retention of future sets. If you are washing, gardening or using any harsh chemicals, then please use gloves. Once you have left the salon, it is ultimately your responsibility to look after your nails. If you are unsure, then please just ask.
